Advanced Multimeter

This project involved designing, building, and testing an advanced multimeter that measures voltage, current, resistance, and beta. This project was a major deliverable for the EECE 280: Electronics Laboratory I course at the University of British Columbia.

I lead a team of 3 to complete this project. Throughout the course of this project I:

  • Implemented custom hardware in VHDL, enabling AD conversion
  • Simulated design behavior using MultiSim, avoiding unexpected hardware behavior
